The opening ceremony featured numerous highlights: Mo Youxue, the renowned sprinter and former National Games champion, graced the occasion with her presence, igniting the crowd's enthusiasm through a ‘champion-level’ warm-up routine. Children commenced their energetic day amidst laughter and rhythmic movement. Immediately afterwards, the school equestrian team made a spirited entrance—young riders trotted their horses at a leisurely pace, their hooves tapping lightly, showcasing the distinctive features of the international curriculum and elite cultivation, earning waves of applause.

As the starting pistol sounded, traditional events unfolded in succession: the 60-metre sprint, 200-metre dash, and relay races proved both intense and delightfully childlike. A series of ingeniously designed fun challenges transformed the field into a sea of joy. The kangaroo hop tested balance and agility, fencing through rings combined skill with focus, flying against the wind inspired courage and teamwork, while the ball-throwing challenge honed hand-eye coordination and strategic thinking. These activities not only resonated with Guangnuo's interdisciplinary, project-based learning philosophy but also allowed children to learn through play and gain insights through competition, truly experiencing the joy of holistic education.

Notably, Mo Yuxue not only officiated as starter for multiple events but personally presented awards to the winners. High-fiving the children and engaging warmly with them, he embodied the champion's ethos of ‘perseverance and transcendence’ through his actions, becoming a role model in the students' hearts.

This exemplified NAS Guangzhou Community's educational ethos of ‘home-school collaboration and global perspective.’ Within this sunlit, hopeful international campus, the children crafted their defining moments through outstanding athletic performances and genuine team camaraderie—demonstrating that striving extends beyond the field, and growth begins with every courageous step forward.
